What does X-Ring Firearm Protection cover?   If you ever have a problem with the gun that you purchased from X-Ring Supply,  due to a manufacturer defect, we will get it fixed and returned as soon as possible. We will either repair it ourselves or coordinate with the manufacturer to repair it. If the firearm cannot be repaired, we will replace it FREE OF CHARGE. You read that correctly; if the firearm has been submitted for repair three times, we will replace that firearm for you FREE OF CHARGE. All you need to do is bring the firearm back to the shop or send it back to us, and we will take care of everything from there. 

Why do I need X-Ring Firearm Protection when most firearms come with a Manufacturer Warranty?  Most manufacturer warranties typically cover unforeseen manufacturing defects and may not cover all shipping charges. Manufacturer warranties can take weeks or months for the firearm to be shipped, worked on and returned. You could try to skip using the manufacturer; small repairs or part replacements can be done by qualified gunsmiths, however experienced gunsmiths are becoming harder to find, and often have long waiting times, and you will have to pay full price for their services, time and replacement parts, if the item can be repaired. 

How does X-Ring Supply’s Firearm Protection save me time and money?   Simply put, we take care of our customers; We make repairing and returning your firearm a priority. With X-Ring Supply’s Firearm Protection, our staff gunsmith will repair or replace any and all parts that we are safely able to, as quickly as possible. Some manufacturers require that ANY work be done by them, at least in the first instance. Further, extensive repairs, or costly part replacements will still need to be sent back to the manufacturer for service, but we will coordinate all of that, handle all shipping and cover all shipping costs.  Coordinating logistics, telephone calls, emails, communications, return authorizations and work orders with manufacturers is always messy, frustrating and time consuming, let us take care of all of that for you.  What if the firearm is seriously damaged or a lemon? If the firearm is not able to be repaired, or if we and/or the manufacturer has worked on the firearm more than three times, we will replace it, FREE OF ADDITIONAL CHARGE. If a replacement is not possible we will issue store credit equal to the original cost of the firearm at no additional charge. Evaluation of the firearm is at our discretion but will be fair market value, if the original cost is not available.

Stipulations:  The lifetime protection plan only applies to the original purchaser of a firearm that is covered by X-Ring Firearm Protection. It is not transferable and does not travel with the firearm. Once we repair or replace the firearm, if you live in a state other than Delaware, delivery may require the firearm transfer to go through a Federal Firearm License (“FFL”) Holder.  Any shipments of your firearm that must take place through a licensed FFL Holder may result in additional fees charged by the FFL Holder of your choice in your state.  We cannot control or cover those fees or expenses. The protection plan does not cover any additional costs that your local FFL holder may charge for a legal transfer in your state. If you are a Delaware Resident and pick up the gun at our Newark, DE location, there will be no fees to pick your gun up. X-Ring Firearm Protection covers the firearm as originally sold by the manufacturer. It does not cover guns once modified, altered or rebuilt by anyone other than employees of X-Ring Supply and the Manufacturer. X-Ring Firearm Protection does not apply to any accessories, scopes, optics, magazines, aftermarket gun parts, etc. This warranty does not cover accuracy. This protection plan strictly covers manufacturer defects. Normal wear and tear of the firearm during typical operation is not covered. Cosmetic issues, finish wear, rusting, common wear parts, etc are not covered as these changes over time are typical and expected during the normal operation of the firearm.  No firearm is built to last forever and X-Ring Firearm Protection protects any firearm  purchased from or through X-Ring for the original owners lifetime(the "Coverage Period"), solely for manufacturers defects. 

X-RING SUPPLY’S RESPONSIBILITY IS LIMITED TO REPAIRING OR REPLACING MANUFACTURER'S DEFECTS OR DEFECTIVE PARTS IN A FIREARM COVERED BY X-RING FIREARM PROTECTION (A “COVERED FIREARM”) THAT IS PRESENTED TO X-RING SUPPLY DURING THE COVERAGE PERIOD.  WHEN REPAIRING A COVERED FIREARM, IF WE DETERMINE IN OUR EXCLUSIVE DISCRETION THAT REPAIR IS NOT VIABLE, WE WILL REPLACE THE FIREARM  OR, ALSO AT OUR DISCRETION OFFER STORE CREDIT, AT AN AMOUNT WE DETERMINE IN OUR EXCLUSIVE DISCRETION TO BE FAIR MARKET VALUE AS OF THE DATE THAT THE FIREARM IS DETERMINED TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR REPLACEMENT OR STORE CREDIT. IF WE ATTEMPT TO REPAIR A COVERED FIREARM THREE TIMES FOR THE SAME ISSUE, WITHOUT SUCCESS, WITH OR WITHOUT MANUFACTURER INVOLVEMENT, WE WILL REPLACE THE FIREARM OR ISSUE STORE CREDIT, AT AN AMOUNT WE DETERMINE AS FAIR MARKET VALUE OF THE COVERED FIREARM AT THE TIME IT IS PRESENTED FOR REPAIR AT THE FINAL ATTEMPT.  THERE IS NO TIME LIMIT FOR HOW QUICKLY WE MUST FINISH A REPAIR, ESPECIALLY IF PARTS ARE DIFFICULT TO PROCURE, OR IF THE MANUFACTURER TAKES A LONG TIME TO REPAIR OR REPLACE THE FIREARM.
