To create the most durable and reliable .308 Win / 6.5 Creedmoor polymer magazine on the market, Lancer drew engineering inspiration from the L5AWM and the SIG Sauer SIG MPX, combining their best features to develop the L7AWM 7.62X51mm magazine. The L7AWM is made from lightweight polymer with hardened steel feed lips that fully encircle the magazine to boost stiffness and reliability while preventing dimpling at the front. A switchable drain lock in the floor plate is standard on all L7 models, allowing users to adapt the magazine for marine environments or very dusty conditions.
